After nearly 40 years we are closing our storefront operation. Unable to find a new operator for our store's continued operations, we will be shutting the store by the end of April 2024. After that we will resume an online operation from a new location. Business on-site will then be by appoinment only at our McArthur Ave. location.

Hence the Half Price Sale which only applies to general inventory at our Osgoode Street store.

If you have not visited our Osgoode Street store, ever or in some time, now is the time to do so. We have large standing collections of interesting books in many areas, from Art to Zoology, now at bargain prices.

Benjamin Books is conveniently located at 122 Osgoode Street, near the corner of King Edward Ave. and on the doorstep of the University of Ottawa. Our store has a long history of excellent service providing course material for university courses.

Our website will be evolving over the next year. For now, the used and antiquarian area of the website will take you directly to our listings on Abebooks, a small sampling of our inventory. This area of the site will also occasionally list recent arrivals. Our textbooks area will be devoted to providing up to date listings for all University of Ottawa courses with course material ordered through our store. The textbook section is arranged alphabetically by department with course code and instructor's name for each class.
